In this tutorial, I will show you, how to connect to Oracle Database with Power BI.
Step 1: Open Power BI and Go to the 'Get Data' option
Step 2: Select Oracle Database
Step 3: Give the Oracle Server Name (and Oracle Username & Password) and the query, you need to fetch the data
Step 4: Click 'Load'
All the data will be loaded to your Fields section.
Possible Errors:
1. TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified - Update your TNS file in Oracle client (Located in: Oracle_Directory\product\12.1.0\client_1\network\admin\tnsnames.oRA)
2. 32 Bit & 64 Bit compatible error - Install correct Oracle version (either 32bit or 64 bit)
